Anne Sommerfeld Halliwell is Co-Founder of ID4ARTS, an electronic ID system linking physical works to digital registries via tamper-resistant tags. In 2023, ID4ARTS agreed terms for a merger with Authentify Art. Prior to founding ID4ARTS in 2015, she was a Managing Director of The Collectors Fund, an investment manager circulating museum quality twentieth century American art to homes of fund investors. In the post-Soviet period, Ms. Halliwell worked with artists in Moscow and St. Petersburg, helping bring Russian artworks to the West. In 2000, she developed a major exhibit for The Brooklyn Museum on Jewish stone sculptures on tombstones in the Pale of Settlement of the Russian Empire. The exhibit subsequently traveled to many US and European museums. She trained in psychology with Robert Jay Lifton at the Yale School of Medicine and worked with Lifton as a researcher and editor for ten years. Ms. Halliwell is on the Advisory Board of All of US, an NIH genomic precision medicine research initiative.
