Marco Senatore is an Italian civil servant and the author of the book “Exchanging Autonomy. Inner Motivations As Resources for Tackling the Crises of Our Times” (Xlibris, 2014). He worked at the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund and he has contributed to representing the views of the Italian government at the international and European level. While fully committed to international cooperation and to the project of a further economic and political integration in Europe, Marco is convinced that the highly needed change of our social structures is only possible through addressing issues already analyzed by social scientists and philosophers such as Max Weber, Hannah Arendt, Theodor Adorno, Amartya Sen, as well as through an existential and spiritual growth of individuals and organizations.
